Spokane bachelor Anton Albert died in 1926, just five weeks after completing his will. He left his $14,000 estate to the community to assist persons over 70 years of age who are in need. Since 1999, the Anton Albert Fund has provided nearly $25,000 to support local senior centers and provide hot meals to homebound elderly. With prudent management, his fund has grown to nearly $45,000 and will continue to help our aging population for years to come. Inland Northwest Community Foundation is pleased to announce the new Anton Albert Legacy Society to honor those whose love of this region has inspired them to plan a gift that keeps on giving.
On behalf of our community and future generations, INWCF gratefully acknowledges their kindness and selfless generosity. Those who join by June 30, 2012 will be recognized as founding members.
